This website (amitguptaz.com) is operated by Amit Gupta. This policy explains what
information is collected when you visit, how it is used, and what choices you have.
Who I am
Amit Gupta, based in India. You can reach me at amit@amitguptaz.com for any question
about this policy or your data.
What is collected
Information you give me. If you book a call, leave a comment or email me, I receive
what you send: your name, email address, and anything you write. Bookings are handled by
Calendly, which collects your name, email and the time you choose.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site records standard
technical data through its hosting and analytics: IP address, browser type, device,
pages visited, time spent, and the site you arrived from.
Cookies. This site uses cookies for basic functionality and for analytics. Third
parties listed below may also set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your
browser settings, though some features may stop working.
Third-party services
These services may receive data when you use this site, and each has its own privacy
policy:
- Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics
- Google AdSense — advertising, where enabled
- Calendly — call bookings
- Elfsight — LinkedIn feed display
- Akismet — comment spam filtering
- WordPress and the site host — site operation and security logs
How the information is used
To respond to your enquiry, to run and improve the site, to understand which content is
useful, and to keep the site secure. Your information is not sold, rented, or shared for
anyone else’s marketing.
How long it is kept
Enquiries and booking details are kept as long as needed for our conversation and any
work that follows, and then deleted. Comments and their metadata are retained
indefinitely so follow-up replies can be recognised. Analytics data follows Google’s
standard retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you the personal data I hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
Email amit@amitguptaz.com and I’ll respond within 30 days.
If you are in the EU or UK, you also have rights under GDPR, including the right to
object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable form, and to
complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act,
2023, including access, correction, erasure and grievance redressal. Contact me at the

Comments
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained. Your IP address and
browser string are sent to Akismet to check for spam.
Embedded content
Pages on this site may include embedded content from other websites, such as LinkedIn
posts or videos. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that site, and
those sites may collect data about you and track your interaction with it.
Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect information, including HTTPS. No method of
transmission over the internet is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be
guaranteed.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and information is not knowingly
collected from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last
changed.
